2: How does the throttle work?

To accelerate, roll the throttle
back towards you (fig 1)

To decelerate, roll the throttle forward (fig 2)
•
The throttle is spring-loaded to the idle position (like
the gas pedal in your car). If operating above idle and the throttle
is released, the throttle immediately returns to the idle position
(full forward).
That
